I thought that Dirty Harry's choice of phallic 'add on' was a .44 magnum.     Wink    Smiley

A .44 Magnum is no longer the "Most Powerful Handgun In The World." A .454 Casul is.

When he said go on punk, make my day I'm sure that wasn't what he had in mind as a reply.

You sure about that PS?

Quote
If Dirty Harry felt that the .44 Magnum would make his day, the new 500 S&W Magnum would certainly make his decade. It is the largest double-action revolver available, and there is no production revolver in the world--single or double action--capable of matching, or even approaching, the level of power it produces.

Things move  and develop, I have seen one off pistols  far more powerful than the Casul, and that was 30 years ago.
I have fired a 7.62 mm pistol that used rifle ammunition and the muzzle energy of that was well in excess of a .44 magnum.
I only fired it once though, once was enough for me.

I don't have a love of guns, I used to work for a firearms dealer.

Hardly he was only certificated for 25 fully automatic firearms on the premises at any time. Most of the work was for the police, museums, and some work for "odd squads" in the British army.
